We live in a world of hit the ground running. You've got to be ready when opportunity knocks, you've got to bring your A-game, and you certainly need to be the early bird to get that worm, but I'm of the mind that while you're out there getting that cake, you should take your time eating it. Savor its flavor and its sweetness, eat it slowly and thoughtfully and do share it with someone else.

If you're so blessed to see the next day, you can hit the ground running again, but don't forget to stop and savor the sweetness of the cake.
