The sleep was fitful and uncomfortable because so much was on my mind. What I thought existed, did not, what did exist before had been extinguished. I woke up today knowing that I cannot bring back what was lost, I cannot create what is not supposed to be and I cannot dwell in either circumstance.

I woke up today, I’m thankful.
